Anxiety for those who are a child of God in Jesus’ Name
The nature of anxiety as a child of God is evil from the deceiver. Satan or whatever you call it has entered your mind and body to tell you that you must worry about the hidden parts of the day, week, and your future.
As a child of the most high God, for those who are Christians, we must identify with the idea that God is here with us and in us which is why we say, “Greater is He who is within me than he who is in the world.”
As a Christian, you have accepted Jesus Christ as your savior but have you really looked at the blessings it gives you when you follow Christ’s and God’s ways as a good person.
Perhaps the entire purpose of living a life or so many lives; I am not a believer in just one life but of living each life, working for God and serving God to keep getting a better and better spirit so I am worthy of what is beyond.
Some will ask, “Don’t you believe in heaven?”
I reply, “Of course but who knows if that is just beyond one life or beyond many I must live to prove my worthiness.”
My purpose today is to instill in you a sense of entitlement of being God’s children and not about life after death.
If you are a person who wakes with anxiety and fear, feels anxiety when plans change suddenly, feels fear in your workplace, your home, goes to sleep with it, or a combination of all of those and you are a Christian who believes in God, you are not a failure or being targeted by God.
You are being attacked by the devil.
“The devil!” my grandmother would cry and display her ward against the evil eye.
Yes grandma, the devil is attacking Christians and causing the most minor inconveniences to become mountains of trouble within God’s children of every age and they do not know how to handle it.
Part of this issue is the lack of belief in a higher power. That atheist point of view, I don’t have words here. This is for Christians who believe with all their hearts but may be doing bad things that God doesn’t want you to do.
Please don’t ask me what those bad things are.
If you have to ask then you know there’s something in your gut that is wondering if there’s an excuse you can get or find for your behavior.
Satan knows every inch of the bible and takes the time to find Christians and give them trouble.
Those Christians who are able to smooth troubled waters and those who are bobbing up and down nearly drowning are defined as those who focus on their Heavenly God and hand the anxiety and fear over to Him and those wishing and waiting for God to appear and suffer daily thinking the lack of help is their fault.
God is everywhere, all the time, and in every way.
If God built a beautiful house with lots of windows and plenty of fresh air and left it open just for you, what would you do if there was a huge rainstorm?
Christian reader says, “I would go inside and stay dry.”
Let’s say God built an invisible house just for you, what would you do if there was a huge sad energy attack from Satan?
CR says, “I can’t see it so it might as well not exist.”
For Christians, God built you a house but instead of showing you so you could enter it, he sacrificed His son, and placed Him inside everyone who accepted Jesus Christ died for our sins.
Let’s say the tiny house inside of you surrounds your soul since the soul is something so small and yet so powerful and the body is just the mechanism that allows you to be alive here on Earth.
If every Christian has this amazing tiny house on the inside of them, why are they suffering daily with anxiety and fear?
The children of Christ do not know their purest spiritual self is inside the house that affords them protections just like a normal house bought or built by your mother, father, or both.
This lack of knowledge, this lack of belief that they can hand any problem to God, and lack of faith that all their problems are truly taken care of so you can stop worrying, are the reasons why one Christian is walking between raindrops and the other is drowning.
God wants you to prosper and that doesn’t mean just monetary. It means happiness, calm, peace, protection, relationships, and prosperity.
You just have to know you are in God’s house and God, in Jesus’ name, has all your problems.
It doesn’t mean you won’t still be afraid but it means you can make leaps and bounds afraid and come through.
Doing something in faith while afraid is hardly new. So many Christian leaders like pastor Joel and Joyce Meyer talk about it and help millions of people get past their anxieties. I believe I can bring a great metaphor to this idea because people can imagine their most perfect holiday or an evening out with friends but cannot imagine their God as a friend, home, and source of unlimited energy to rest in and be calm.
The three friends of Daniel who were tossed into an incredibly hot fire were afraid but they did not bow down to a false God to prevent their deaths. Instead they said that they will pray and have faith in the most high God in life and in death because either way they would be protected by God or get to meet God and be protected there. Their faith in the face of death didn’t mean they didn’t have to go through the turmoil. It meant, regardless of the outcome, God had them. If you know the story, God was with them and nothing but the ropes that bound their hands was burned away.
Now don’t go jumping off cliffs or bungy jumping with handmade rubber band bungys. This means, hand anxiety over to God, declare that God has your fears and worries, and you will walk and work and play this day, in possible fear, but with the knowledge the blessing will come over you and remove what is limiting you.
Do not say, “God please help me through this fear and anxiety.”
Say, “God I declare that you have my fears and anxieties and I will do this (day, work, trip) even if I am afraid because you have conquered all who are against me!”
You don’t have to say this to anyone except yourself but say it. The difference is knowing you have the richest, most powerful being loving you like the parent They are and not wishing upon some invisible force you think doesn’t have time to meet with you since the world is so big.
Next time, the problems of minor indiscretions and excuses you give God for your behavior and why no amount of faith may help you if you are not following God’s rules, in Jesus’ name.
